In regards to the videos, I really like that she shows you the exercises and modifications before the "timer" starts--this makes me not feel so rushed when the time comes because I understand what I am supposed to do. I also LOVE the timer because I usually feel like I may not be able to do it but it starts beeping different when it is close to being "done" with the time and, psychologically, that allows me to push through. Tabata has different reps and has like 20-30 seconds of workout followed by 10 seconds of rest. This definitely makes it seem "achievable" to push through from someone who likes taking breaks to drink while not feeling like I am falling behind where I should be.
The instructor of this series is very kind and friendly too. During the core and cardio workout (which was super intense and a challenge for me), there was a time where I was doing a plank and was just laying face down on the ground after and she said "don't give up! You can do it" and I was like "dang... I need to really get up and keep trying." It was a great time for a motivation even though she could not see me since the videos are recorded (and I'm glad no one saw me in that sad state haha).
Most exercises require some weights which I don't have multiples of so I improvised with items around my house--which may not be the best but it worked and I still felt the burn.
I've been enjoying this overall. I can't do it every 2 days like it says but more like every 3-4 days just based on my energy level with work. Pleased overall!
