I am an adamant believer in essential oils and I think this stuff is great. What I love is that it is a combination of essential oils that, together, leave you feeling relaxed. It smells nice and has an easy-to-use top, which allows you to get the product out in small drop-increments...which is all you really need. This product can be applied directly to your skin or can go in a diffuser (sometimes you need to dilute it before you put it on your skin or it is too diluted to work well in a diffuser). I like putting some drops in my bath with some baking soda to sort of get a "detox bath" effect. I love all the ways you can use it and how it is using natural oils to help calm and relax yourself. Definitely a great item to have handy!

Childproofing (or in my case, dog-proofing) your house is super important to ensure your loved one's safety. These magnetic locks are a fun and new way to keep your house safe! The locks come with an adhesive strip on the back. You just peel the cover of the strip and place it where you want the lock. The strong adhesive allows the locks to look like they are "floating" and keeps things looking nice and pretty. What I love the most is the magnetic aspect of it. This set comes with a circular magnetic that opens the locks! You don't have to open the door part way and pinch your fingers trying to push the lock down! You just set the magnet by where the lock is and voila! It opens! It's super cool and innovative. I would recommend using this for higher counters (or in not super dangerous cabinets) if you have smaller children, because they may "learn the trick" to open the mysterious cabinets. However, I'm VERY pleased with how these work. I'm just using them to keep my dog out of the lower cabinets, and dogs don't have thumbs so I don't have to worry about them figuring out about the magnet trick. I just think this is such a clever idea. It keeps the cabinets closed very tight and secure. I'm a happy camper!

I love how you can stack them inside each other, so they don't take up a lot of space! I love that it is dishwasher, microwave, and freezer safe. I also like how (by the air valve) there is a dial to indicate when you prepared the food/put it in. The size of the containers are great. I usually use the smallest container if I want to pack a lunch and bring it to work. The other sizes (3 cups, 6.3 cups, 12.7 cups, and 21 cups) are great for bigger fruit/vegetables (or meals). I have only used the small one in the microwave and it was for a very short time, so I am not sure if I may experience the problems others have if I were to put it in for a longer amount of time. Likewise, I have noted that the air valve function does not always work perfectly. Sometimes air doesn't want to come out or finds a way to escape in. I've only experienced this to a small extent, and my food still was fresh after a few days, so this was not a big problem for me (just something to be aware of if you have more sensitive/delicate products in the containers). These containers also come with an instruction guide that explains how to use this air valve, which was very helpful. I like that the containers are BPA free and the lids have four snaps (on each side) to secure freshness and prevent unwanted spillage. The containers also have a wave pattern at the bottom which prevents moisture from getting into fruit or veggies and allows them to last longer in the containers. Although there are minor problems to be aware of, this is a great set overall to have. If you accommodate based on the "less-than-perfect" qualities, then I believe you will be quite pleased with these containers. Want to check this out for yourself? I think they are so fun and have a fun flair to them. People always want to use them when they come over! I love how thick the glass is and how classy the spiral inner wall looks. These glasses really do elevate whatever you are drinking. The minor problem occurs when you go to wash it. I read other reviews about the glasses breaking even on the top shelf, so I just put one in there to test it and washed the others by hand. I guess, like many others, my dishwasher is super powerful because I did notice that somehow a little bit of water got between the two-walls. I did not have the same issue when I hand-washed them, so I've just stuck with doing the glasses by hand. They are super easy to clean and you don't have to worry about the glasses shattering in your dishwasher...because these are so cool! My only complaint is that they shouldn't be listed as "dishwasher-safe" but instead be listed as glasses that require hand-washing. I really love these glasses though! They always add a fun aspect whenever I use them. Want to check this out for yourself? This is a nice set. Both the ice molds and the coasters are well-made and add something to your appliances/supplies.
On a side note, I like that, by using these products, you also may save on money. You don't have to get little rings on your tables from drinks. This saves you from having to buy another table once yours gets gross. The coasters protect your appliances and keep things looking nice for a longer time than they would if you did not use a coaster. The ice molds are nice because you don't have to go out and buy ice! Plus, you can make fun flavored ice cubes which elevate any drink you have! Anywho, let's get back to my review of the product. Here are some important things to know about the sphere mold: The sphere mold has many elements to it that make for an overall excellent mold. For one, there is a little "overflow" channel built in so if there is any water spilt, it does not leak into the others. The sphere mold comes with a top portion that has a tiny hole at the top. Fill in the lower portion with whatever fruit (or other items) you want in your ice. Then, secure the top to the lower portion TIGHTLY! I had to cut my lemon slices into quarters because when I put them in as a wedge it did not close all the way and ended up leaking out the sides. Once you have the top and bottom tightly pressed together, put the water in the top hole of each sphere mold. The water will spill out when it is done, and there is an "overflow" tray so this is not an issue. You'll know its secure when you fill up one sphere and none of the other molds have water in them yet. Once you fill in each mold individually, simply put it in the freezer and wait till they are ready! The ice mold is pretty tiny, so your sphere ice won't be super big and should fit in most glasses. I cut two lemon slices in half and then put the half slices into the cubes and it worked well. As for the coasters, I love that it also comes with a holder. The silicone helps the coasters and holder stay in place even if you bump it. I like how the coasts have a different design on each side. The coasters are simple and work well. I'm super happy with how they work! Want to check this out for yourself? I like how sleek they look and the size...it was perfect for my face! They are comfortable for short periods of time, but probably not ideal for all-day use because they are not super comfortable and leave little marks/indents on your nose after a while. However, these have been great for casual use and I'm very pleased with the quality of the product compared to the cost. These work much better than other sunglasses I've purchased for the same (or more). They get the job done and help you to see and keep your eyes protected from the sun, so I'm satisfied! :) Want to check this out for yourself? The box came with a snickers crisper bar, yogi green tea bags, NYC Lovatics by Demi Lip and Cheek Tint, and Sweet Spot Wipettes. I am going to review the Snickers Crisper in another post. But I'll quickly outline my thoughts on these items that I received free to test and review (head to my page on Influenster if you want to learn more about this site). The yogi green tea was delicious. I absolutely love the taste and it made me feel so good when I drank it. Sweet spot on-the-go wipettes work. They smell nice and are not overpowering. I love the cute design so you can put it in your purse or bag and use it whenever you need it. The NYC lip tint is super nice. I only use it on my lips (not my cheeks) because it is a little sticky. However, I love how it looks natural on my lips (just a slight pinkish red tint). Overall, I'm pleased with the products in my Spirit Vox box! :) |
