Before I started, I put sunscreen all over my hands because both UV and LED lights emit UVA lights, which can cause damage to your skin and simply using sunscreen helps protect yourself (albeit only a small amount of UVA light, a small amount can add up). The sunscreen also allows me to easily clean up my nails if I spill the polish over and it gets on my skin. Then, I buffed my nails then used rubbing alcohol before I applied the polish, to make sure my nails were clean and dry. Then I applied the polish and removed any spillage before I cured it.
What is nice about this is that once it is cured, you can do a design with normal polish. If you mess up, you can use nail polish remover and it just removes the design but the polish isn't impacted at all, which is super nice.
One of my nails did chip a little bit after just a day, but all the other nails have held up. I did my mom's nails too and she said one nail is chipping as well, but the rest are holding up!
Overall, I am pleased with this polish! :) It works well and lasts longer than regular polishes!
