It is important to note that this product does contain shea butter, as some people do have an irritation with it. My mom has this sensitivity and just used a little of this polish and was fine.
I noticed a slighly shimmer/glitter on my skin after using this. It was very subtle but fun! Since my mom only used a little bit of the polish, she said she did not notice this on herself. So, either it is super mild and some may not even notice it, or it only happens if you use a normal amount. Either way, it was very subtle and nothing to be avoided.
My only complaint is that if you use this in the bath, it does leave a pink rim around where the water level was. This easily comes off by scrubbing, but it is something to be aware of.
Overall, I feel like this works well as both an exfoliating scrub and a nourishing body polish! :)
