Influenster
So I joined this site after seeing people post about their freebies on Facebook. Basically, you make an account and have different "badges" that you can unlock by writing reviews and answering people's questions in these badge categories (such as: beauty queen, fashionista, video games, travel, etc.) There are also a set of "lifestyle" badges (such as: a megamom badge, college badge, wellness badge, etc.), These "badges" help Influenster pair you with the best "voxboxes" (what their free sample box is called). When you create an account, you also have to fill out some basic demographic questions too, so that information plus your badges will be factored in to whether you qualify for a freebie. You can also link your social media accounts to Influenster, which boost your "social impact" score. Now, you also have things called "Snaps" which are general questions they ask when you may qualify for a campaign or they are just wondering where you fall in a category based on questions. You may also get a prequalification survey if you are in the running to get a voxbox. If you are chosen, you must complete a set of tasks and these tasks are called your "campaign." Sometimes you will be asked to participate in a campaign that has a "virtual vox" which means you are not getting any physical product, but if you complete the tasks, you are entered into a contest where you could win some nice prizes! I know this sounds a little complicated, but Influenster does a good job making what is required very clear. You have to frequently keep up with your badges, otherwise they are listed as "inactive within the last ____ days" and this will not look favorably on you. Below is my link to Influenster if you are interested in creating an account, with all your new knowledge about the site! If you sign up using the link, I simply get credit for sharing the site with others by getting a slight increase to my "social impact" number. Honest Personal Experience with Influenster
I started on Influenster in January of 2015. Honestly, I forgot about it for about a month until I got a notification that I was selected to participate in the Pantene Voxbox! I was so thrilled that I went on and unlocked all the badges (which took me quite a few hours). I got my Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner (full size) and a smaller version of the Dry-Shampoo. It was so fun to try stuff out and give my honest feedback! I was so happy with Influenster, and everyday checked to see if I qualified for anything and was always disappointed. A few months later, I got a Carefree Voxbox that many Influensters got. It was nice even though it was very small (probably 3$ retail, if that). Nevertheless, I was still happy with Influenster. I was invited to a Virtual Vox Ebay campaign for a 25$ Gift card, which I did (and then they asked me to do it twice more, so in total I got 75$ in Ebay Gift Card Money). This was great because, although I did not receive any product in the mail, I was able to buy the 75% lawn material I needed, and then I went out and bought some fun makeup I wanted to try for like 12$ since I saved all that money on the lawn materials I was planning on buying beforehand. Then, I heard nothing again, despite keeping my badges up-to-date. Once again, a few months later, I heard that I was invited to the CoverGirl VoxBox where I tried a Mascara and Eyeliner. I was thrilled again by that and had a nice time reviewing the products. However, its been almost two months now and I still have yet to get any qualifying surveys. I keep getting virtual voxboxes, but with prizes that are not guaranteed so I have not received anything. I've completed the tasks in hopes that my Campaign badges that I've unlocked will come in handy later with other future voxboxes. Overall, I'm happy with Influenster. You just need to be patient and happy that you get anything and realize that sometimes you go months without receiving anything, and that is normal. :)

1/12/16 Update:
Keeping up with all the surveys was exhausting and honestly stopped being fun so I stopped going on and switched exclusively to Smiley 360. However, I randomly got an email saying I qualified for a voxbox and asked me to complete the survey. Mind you, ALL of my badges were "inactive" and I had not logged in to the site for probably two months or so. Later, I was notified that I got the product...it was a dry spray deodorant (one I had receive 2 other times from other sites, but I loved the spray and was getting low, so I was happy). It was probably just two weeks later when again, I was notified of my qualification for a voxbox. I still had not updated my badges and was accepted into that campaign for SlimFast products! I was super excited yet super confused as I had not gone on the site for a while yet received two voxboxes. I'm assuming I would have received more if I was active on the site, but it just goes to show that the badges aren't everything. My mom too stopped going on Influenster after not receiving a voxbox for a YEAR and was just invited to also receive a dry spray (though it was a different brand and more products than mine). She was really excited and just told me she had a prequalification survey for an anti-aging serum. Maybe we got these second surveys because we went back on after a long hiatus? I'm not sure... just something to note that being up to date on your badges is not everything, though I'm sure it does help :)!
