As many of you know, I have a Chihuahua-dachshund dog. This mean she is tiny but has a longer body. Chihuahua's also have difficulty regulating body temperature, which means she needs to wear sweaters when it gets cold. Consequently, I have a hard time finding jackets that work for her because of her long body and most jackets are not fully covering her. However, I was so happy to see this winter jacket was long enough to cover her! It also has a really nice bottom portion, which is attached in one corner and has velcro by the neck on one side and on both sides of the belly. This makes it SUPER easy for her to get in, and the arm holes are big enough that she still can freely move. I also think the pattern is simply adorable, which is an added benefit. My dog is 20 pounds and I ordered a large for her. It was a little big but exactly how I would want it. Very pleased overall!
